Assalaam Alaikum!

I’m a homeschooling mother of two children aged 4 and 8, Alhamdulillah. They are the inspiration behind this website.

Ummi is a place where I share original, authentic and creative Islamic resources that I create with much love for my children in hope that it may benefit other mothers and teachers in their journey of raising believing children as I raise mine – all for FREE.

My life revolves around mothering which includes learning. I am a student of Bachelors of Arts in Islamic Studies at Islamic Online University. I believe that a mother is the child’s first and best teacher (whether she homeschools or not) and so she should empower herself with Islamic knowledge to raise a successful and a believing generation.
